July 2008When I arrived I had a pleasant welcome from the guy in the bar and the restaurant manager booked me in and explained where things were. Service here and in the restaurant was excellent! The food in the restaurant was really good and there's a nice atmoshphere in there - it's also inexpensive for the good quality and variety on offer. The rooms were immaculate, I've rarely stayed anywhere as clean. My only complaint is that on checking out I was served by a gruff man who showed no customer service at all who basically took my payment without showing any interest in me as a customer. The hotel lost score here but I would stay at the Tree Hotel again as hopefully this was a one off. |
